Is this real life?

I've heard a lot about how this volcano has caused serious airport problems in Europe, but I hadn't seen an image of lightning/lava/ash like this... Goes to show how little control we have over the earth. Some people, like Kaki King, would even go so far as to say it's karmic.

There should be no such thing as one Earth Day.... considering we live every day of our life on it, we should try not to destroy it.
